On The Production Floor With Nieco’s Operations Manager, Terry McKennna
Watch How We Build Our High-Quality Broilers and Toasters to Last
Nieco has long had a reputation for offering customers reliable, well-designed broilers and toasters that are made to withstand heavy use in the busy foodservice industry. What many may not know, however, is that the majority of components, and every Nieco end product, is built by hand in our Windsor, California headquarters before shipping to customers around the world.
We asked Terry McKenna, Nieco’s Operations Manager to give customers a tour of our production floor and explain how our products are built:
- Starting with the manufacturing of different metal components where our team punches and forms metal pieces, welds them together and then finishes them using finishing, polishing and grinding equipment
- Then moving on to our manufacturing assembly area where our broilers and toasters are constructed
- And finally, learning more about our mechanical and electrical sub-assembly areas where the sub-components are built that go into our products
